Never meant to old....he sold his soul did he not?

He was never meant to be old. Same age as me and I remember him as the afro faced smiling singer who I actually liked. I always hated the way he morphed himself into his inner hate. To become white, straighten his hair and nose. Have white children...what was that all about really? A tortured and troubled soul was he.

He surrounded himself with the images and objects of youth, Neverland and other peoples kids, he spoke like a kid and denied himself the pleasure of just growing old and enjoying his spoils.

He as never meant to old, like Peter Pan he will remain to me that bouncy kid with the bouncy afro, singing beautifully. After that he was a train wreck waiting to happen. Icon of the effects of fame, money and drugs. The enablers, hangers on, opportunists, users, his own mind all played with him and like a child he sought affection from those his own emotional age.

I can't feel sorry for him I only know he died years ago it just took his human body and greed and it's ugliness too long to follow and he paid for that didn't he.

~I thank you~
